Parcours : 

Ingénieur-architecte diplômée en 1997 avec distinction, Véronique Patteeuw poursuit des études avec un DEA “Cultural Studies” à Leuven (1998) avant d’être recruté par Bruxelles 2000, Ville Culturelle Européenne de l’an 2000 (1998-2001) puis par le NAi (2001-2005) où elle dirige des projets d’architecture (expositions, ouvrages, colloques). Elle est la co-commissaire du pavillon belge à la biennale de Venise en 2006 puis poursuit un deuxième DEA “Philosophie et Architecture” (2007) à Paris avant d’entamer une thèse en architecture. Elle enseigne à Paris-Malaquais et Paris-Versailles avant d’être titularisé à l’ENSAP de Lille. Ses recherches portent sur l’histoire et les théories de l’architecture du XXème siècle et se concentre de manière précise sur l’expérimentation architecturale face aux enjeux environnementaux. Elle a été co-commissaire de « It’s about Time », la Biennale internationale d’architecture de Rotterdam 2022. Patteeuw a récemment coédité It’s About Time. The Architecture of Climate Change (2024), The architect as public intellectual (2023), Authorship (2022), Modernities (2021), Mediated Messages: Periodicals, Exhibitions and the Shaping of Postmodern Architecture (2018).
